Incidents and mishaps propel Norman Wisdom into a series of extraordinary escapades in his final leading role on television.
Series 1 and 2, Series 3 sees Norman taking a job as a clerk in a builder's office.
Norman's fortunes take a turn when he purchases a monkey from an elderly man in the park and immediately begins amassing a fortune. However, fate is not inclined to let such good luck endure...
A severe thunderstorm forces Norman to seek refuge in an auction room. Inside, he experiences a series of strange accidents, including dodging an explosion, accidentally touching the Venus de Milo, and trying to evade a dangerous thug known as Mr. Big.
