The untimely death of the 22-year-old, daughter of Brazilian author and producer, International Emmy winner Gloria Perez, shocked the country, gained notoriety and occupied the front pages of national newspapers for years.
In 1992, the disappearance of rising telenovela star Daniella Perez prompts a frantic search through the streets of Rio de Janeiro. Then, after locating her body, police narrow in on a suspect with close ties to the late actress.
In the days following Daniella’s death, the investigation – and an all-out media frenzy – closes in on the young actress’ on-screen love interest, actor Guilherme de Pádua.
