A near fatal car crash on a trip to a convention causes four hyper-dysfunctional anime fans to confront everything they were hiding from at the one place they go to escape.
The five convention buddies meet up and begin their carpool over to the convention. Bickering, insults, and manga drawings ensue.
After the accident, the four uninjured convention buddies wait for their friend at the hospital and argue over whether or not they should still attend the convention.
Randy attends his Sky Fighters tournament and attempts to ask out his attractive opponent.
