Nikhil Upreti is a legendary action superstar who redefined the stunt landscape of the Nepali film industry. He made a historic debut in the 2001 film Pinjada, where he performed a famous jump from the seven-story Kantipur Hospital building without a harness, instantly cementing his reputation as a daredevil. Throughout the 2000s, he dominated the box office with over 100 films, including major hits like Hami Tin Bhai, Dhadkan, Agnipath, and Nikhil Dai. After a brief transition to Mumbai to explore the Indian film industry, he made a successful return to Nepal in 2015 with the self-directed blockbuster Bhairav. In his personal life, he is married to actress Sanchita Luitel, with whom he has a son named Kashav and a daughter named Saisha.
