The Swedish natives formed a strange ancient culture, which the new archaeology has largely reassessed. In the last part of antiquity, life in the villages, where indoors in winter it was only twelve degrees warm, is told about moss-like and ancient castles. Unique pictures show our first trade centre Helgö and our first city, Birka. The Asa gods and the Uppsala Temple lose the fight against Christianity.
