In a near future, mankind has moved from a drained Earth to the Moon. Rebel acts of terrorism lead to conflicts with the Earth Federal Government. A mysterious entity called Dallos appears to restore hope.
Shun Nonomura is a young man out of Monopolis, a sprawling miner's colony on the lunar surface. His people mine essentials for Earth. In the late 21st century, Earth's resources are depleted and the planetary government has resorted to authoritarian rule to get what they want. As the put-upon miners start to organize a revolt, they come under attack from Earth's new lunar commander, Alex Rigel. As Shun's idealism and Alex's chilly pragmatism clash, Monopolis is thrown into chaos. The last, best hope for victory lies within a mysterious alien artifact the lunarians worship as a god: Dallos!
At the end of the 21st century, Earth is experiencing a grand renewal, all thanks to resources mined from the moon. However, tensions mount as lunar colonists rebel against the conditions forced upon them by their motherland.
Repurposing mining gear into tools of war, the lunar resistance heats up. In an effort to break the will of the colonists, government forces aim to destroy Dallos--a giant face carved into the moon worshiped by the colonists.
War explodes across the moon as a residential district is bombed by government forces. Ambitions and agendas clash as the final battle approaches, with a restored Dallos as the final stronghold!
With both sides decimated, just what has everything up until now been for? With the future uncertain, all must consider where they stand, and they are fighting for.
