In the tannery neighborhood on the outskirts of Damascus, the death of an influential man ignitesa fierce battle between his children that begins with their greed for inheritance and does not end with the secrets they hide.
On the day Aref the tanner celebrates his firstborn son Mokhtar's arrival, an old dispute reignites between him and the farmers over the river water.
Aref commits an unspeakable act after providing Badee’a and her daughter with supplies. Hadeel confronts Shahine, Aref's son, after he buys all of Umm Juma's leather stock.
Abu Hadeel tries to use Aref’s secret as leverage against him. Mokhtar meets lawyer Abeer and conspires with Juma against Shahine.
