The world’s most popular motoring show comes to MotorTrend. Based on the original motoring series by the BBC, this version pays homage to the legacy of the Top Gear brand with a few original ideas from the minds at MotorTrend.
In the season premiere Dax, Rob and Jethro attempt a trip across America. They pick a Ford, a Porsche and a McLaren, and try to figure out what they are. Meanwhile, Dax heads to the airport for a fitting sendoff to the Lamborghini Huracan.
The guys head to an ancient lava field to see if you need big bucks to go overlanding, or if you can you do it in $5,000 vehicles. Meanwhile, Dax has a revelation about turning left as he reviews the new Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody.
Dax, Rob and Jethro are off to Arizona to pick up cars they think will sell for big money in the future, and drive them back to LA. Meanwhile, Jethro has double vision while reviewing a Pagani Huayra, and The Stig establishes the leaderboard.
Dax, Rob and Jethro take a Porsche, Bentley and Lamborghini SUV to Colorado to see if they're worth it, and if altitude is the best remedy for a headache. Jethro goes to a frozen lake to see how many tires it takes to float a 10,000 pound vehicle.
Dax, Rob and Jethro take to local streets and remote lakebeds in hot rods for under $5,000, while The Stig surprises the guys with a little extra pressure. Dax makes it personal while racing an iconic Ferrari with a homemade station wagon.
The guys attempt to fix rally racing in an Infiniti, a Nissan and a Subaru.
The guys convince the producers to let them build a new Top Gear America home track. Things blow up in their faces when Dax renovates the production office and Jethro takes one for the team. Rob has an identity crisis in the new Aston Martin Vantage.
The guys struggle to find the ultimate driver’s car for under $100,000. They resort to fast food, feelings and G forces until the producers step in with an Indycar. Meanwhile Jethro leaves the real world while reviewing a Bugatti Chiron.
Rob calls for a lifeline in the new Jeep Mojave as Dax tries to prove to him that the Polaris RZR is the most capable desert vehicle ever made. Jethro lets viewers in on what it feels like to really drive a Ferrari F8 Tributo.
Things go south in Texas for Dax, Rob and Jethro when a horse in Arizona shows the guys who pulls the most weight. Jethro also teaches Rob how a carnival ride can help you drive over 200 miles-per-hour in a McLaren Senna.
In the season one finale, Dax, Rob and Jethro relive their youth in a Vector, a Lancia and a Firebird. Dax gets a little heated when Jethro gives him a run for the money. Meanwhile, Rob goes to the desert to dethrone the king in a Hyundai Veloster N.
In the season premiere, Dax, Rob and Jethro call on the spirit of Evel Knievel to determine if 200 mph is a reasonable and prudent speed limit for a Bugatti, a Lamborghini and a Ford GT. Rob dispels an urban myth about his first car, a Ford Pinto.
Are you an environmentally conscious CEO in the market for a new car? Dax, Rob and Jethro race across Seattle to close a critical deal with a mysterious CEO. Meanwhile, Dax celebrates his birthday with the Porsche 911 Turbo S.

While in Carmel, California, Dax, Rob and Jethro build three prototype Jaguars that are destined to appeal to the American buyer. Then, Jethro heads to the desert in a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, where he discovers an icon in the making.
The hosts are in car salesman mode for a unique buyer: the United States military. They pick three vehicles with a long history of military service, ready to re-enlist. Jethro figures out the best way to not be seen in the Mini Cooper JCW GP.
Just because money's tight, it doesn't mean you have to compromise on your car. Dax, Rob and Jethro head to Vegas to show you how to get a lot for a little, until things heat up in Death Valley. Then, Rob cheats Jethro in a Ford Mustang Mach-E.
In the season finale, Dax, Rob and Jethro want you to stop hating the miniature van and learn to love it like they do! They drag it. They rally it. They take it on the oval, and manage to invent a new sport!
