A weekly TV comedy series of a British household with Dickie Henderson as the head of the family. Every week would feature a guest star. Most episodes of this series are believed to be lost.
Dickie is the victim of a practical joke gone wrong in which 3 beautiful girls mysteriously pop out of a wardrobe at his flat while his wife is away.
Dickie encounters problems when he employs a starstruck domestic servant.
In the last programme of the present series Dickie and family leave for the USA in a luxury liner. But smooth sailing is out of the question with a stowaway on board.
A scream in the night from the flat next door sends Dickie and June investigating. Since the flat is occupied by Dora Bryan, there are plenty of screams in the rest of the story too.
