Vincent, an heir to a news empire, gets accused of killing his rival, Walter. To protect his reputation, he hires Stella, an escort with her own haunted past, to pose as his alibi. What begins as a transactional arrangement soon becomes dangerously real as their shared wounds and ambitions draw them together. But when they uncover the truth, the two are compelled to confront their true feelings.
Vincent, the adopted son of a business magnate, insists on saving Cabrera News, the family's struggling venture. After losing the CEO position to Walter, he gets into a heated confrontation with him. But when his rival is found dead, Vincent tries to enlist the help of Stella, a mysterious dancer he encountered that fateful night.
As the investigation intensifies, Vincent loses the trust of his father, Arthur. To make matters worse, suspicion towards him deepens when the police uncover his wife Claudia's affair with Walter.
