Super Mario Bros. Z is a British fan-made flash-animated web series created by Mark Haynes. It is a crossover between the Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog franchises, while incorporating elements from the Dragon Ball Z series. The series follows Mario joining forces with Sonic the Hedgehog to prevent Turbo Mecha Sonic from collecting the seven Chaos Emeralds and destroying the world. The series remains unfinished, a reboot started in 2016.
Mario and Luigi race Wario and Waluigi in a Mario Kart race, but Bowser and Kamek interfere.
Mario wins a long fight with Bowser, thanks to a timely appearance by Sonic and Shadow.
The Gang goes on the hunt for the Chaos Emeralds. Yoshi is attacked by Mecha Sonic.
As Yoshi heals at Mario's House, the Gang continues the hunt, but are ambushed by the Koopa Bros.
The Gang travels to Yoshi's Island in search of the lost Chaos Emerald. There, they find that the locals are in trouble.
The Mario Team, Koopa Bros. and Axem Rangers X fight for the Chaos Emeralds. Mecha Sonic arrives, spelling doom for Yoshi's Island.
With Stuffwell joining the team, the Gang search the Pipe Maze for the fifth Emerald, but a run in with Mecha Sonic sees our heroes trapped in a world of negative space.
Bowser kidnaps Peach. The heroes formulate a rescue plan to save her, but Shadow stays behind. The Gang raid Bowser's Doomship, as a new foe lies in wait.
