Off the Hook is a British sitcom about a group of freshers at university. The shows' cast includes Jonathan Bailey who plays the main character Danny, Danny Morgan as Shane and James Buckley as Fred. They are joined by Joanna Cassidy who plays Scarlett and Georgia King as Wendy 'Weird Bloke'.
Danny starts his first week at university looking forward to fun, parties and girls. He gets an unwelcome surprise when Shane turns up.
Danny has a chance to get his love life back on track by going on a date with fashion student Maya, but must learn to be cool.
Danny has to fend off the amorous advances of his over-sexed lecturer Vanessa, while Shane bins Danny's photography coursework.
Shane lands a double date with a pair of stunning German sisters and needs to convince Danny to come along as his wingman.
It is Halloween and Shane plans to throw the biggest party ever, but their mysterious flatmate Weird Bloke is determined to ruin it.
It is the student elections and Danny and Shane are ready to take on the world, but they have to beat the politically superior Scarlet.
With the first term hurtling towards its finale, Danny's end-of-term project sees him having to produce his own live TV show.
