Rola, Umm Fawaz’s expat granddaughter, returns to her family home for a short mission. But an urgent incident forces her to stay in the countryside longer than she had planned…
After many years of living abroad, Rola unknowingly returns to her hometown on the day of her great-grandpa’s death and must keep up with the traditional habits of offering condolences.
Rola struggles to cope with her family and the village. Complicating things further is her finding out that some of her money… was stolen.
Despite not getting along with her grandma, Rola discovers that all she has is family when Nawras and Shaheen help her with the authorities after losing her passport.
Rola makes peace with the idea that her visit may take longer than she expected. Meanwhile, Nawras is hellbent on cheating his way to passing his exams.
