Noel Edmonds raids the archives and presents some of the most moving moments from his previous Christmas shows. He catches up with many of the extraordinary people he has surprised over the years and has some new festive specials up his sleeve.

From the top of the British Telecom tower high above London, Noel Edmonds presents a live outside broadcast uniting families and friends throughout the United Kingdom at locations in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich and Plymouth. And also linking families in Australia, via satellite, with their loved ones in the UK. Mike Smith searches for Santa in Lapland. Noel is joined by a host of star guests both in Australia and the UK.
Noel will be uniting families and friends throughout the UK via BBC regional cameras, and satellites will beam in pictures of their loved ones abroad. Roving camera crews will be dropping in on viewers' celebrations, Gorden Kaye will be hosting a giant Christmas party at Gerry Cottle's Circus in Battersea Park, and Noel will be joined by a host of star guests both in the UK and abroad, plus exclusive performances by the world's top pop groups.
