Podi Malli and Chooti Malli amuse the audience with their humour. Api Nodanna Live (අපි නොදන්න ලයිව්) was a highly popular Sri Lankan comedy sketch television show broadcast by Sirasa TV. It is widely credited with introducing a more intellectual and subtle style of comedy to Sri Lankan television, moving away from traditional slapstick.
This premiere originally aired in December 2002. It introduced the iconic comedic duo Chooti Malli and Podi Malli and set the tone for the show's signature intellectual satire that parodied Sri Lankan society.
Because the second season launched much later than the first, it introduced two new female presenters known as Podi Nangi and Chooti Nangi to mirror the original duo.
