The year is 1904, and the aristocratic Pringle family has just "failed upward" into total poverty. After Arthur Pringle loses the family fortune on a fleet of steam-powered underwater mail-carriages, he and his wife Michelle are forced to move their daughters—sophisticated 12-year-old Jamille and chaotic 8-year-old Nicki—from a manor to a cramped city tenement. While Arthur attempts to invent his way back to high society with ridiculous contraptions, Michelle secretly runs local betting rings to pay the rent. Between Jamille’s desperate attempts to stay "classy" and Nicki’s habit of out-gambling the local dockworkers, the Pringles are proving that you can lose your money and your monocle, but you can’t lose your nerve. In an era of rapid progress and even faster disasters, "Good Heavens!" is a slapstick celebration of a family trying to stay elegant while being completely broke.

In the premiere season of "Good Heavens!", the aristocratic Pringle family’s world is turned upside down when Arthur’s "can't-miss" investment in steam-powered underwater mail-carriages sinks along with their entire fortune. Evicted from their manor, Arthur and Michelle must move their daughters—the mortified 12-year-old Jamille and the fearless 8-year-old Nicki—into a cramped city tenement.

Twelve-year-old Jamille is desperate to prove she is a "Modern Young Lady" by joining the local Ladies' Cycling Club, but her dreams of elegance are crushed when her 8-year-old sister, Nicki, accidentally breaks her expensive new bicycle. To fix the situation before their mother, Michelle, finds out, the sisters enter a high-stakes street race against the neighborhood boys. Meanwhile, Arthur tries to "coach" them using a series of overly complicated physics equations and a very loud megaphone, while Michelle secretly bets the grocery money on Nicki’s chaotic riding style.

Jamille and Nicki try to get their parents to reconcile after the great Feast of food argument only to find that they are very out of luck

Jamille tries to host a gala on a 5-cent budget. Nicki tries to "copy" the fancy food using mud pies and glitter.

Their old butler visits. The family pretends they still have servants, with Nicki playing the role of the "World’s Smallest Maid."

Jamille’s first day at the local school. She tries to teach the teacher about Shakespeare while Nicki trades her lunch for a "magic" harmonica.

Arthur takes the girls to show off his "Self-Winding Umbrella." It ends up taking Nicki for a short flight across the town square.

The girls try to sneak out for a late-night street festival. Nicki’s "elegant" disguise involves wearing three of Jamille’s dresses at once.

A famous painter wants to paint Jamille. Nicki keeps "fixing" the painting when the artist isn't looking to make herself the star.

Michelle organizes a rent strike. Jamille leads the group with sophisticated speeches, while Nicki provides the "musical" protest on a tin drum.

The Pringles celebrate their first Christmas in the city. They have no tree, so Arthur builds a "Steam-Tree" that smells like coal and peppermint.

The Pringles are back for another year of Edwardian-era hijinks with a 70s soul! Following their move to the city tenement, Arthur is more determined than ever to "strike it rich," leading the family into a series of chaotic misadventures involving the 1904 World’s Fair and the first-ever "motor-car" race. Twelve-year-old Jamille has officially become the neighborhood’s youngest etiquette coach, though her lessons are constantly interrupted by her eight-year-old "shadow," Nicki. Nicki has traded her marbles for sophisticated fans and lace, mimicking Jamille’s every move—usually with disastrously funny results. From Michelle’s secret poker games with the Mayor’s wife to Arthur’s steam-powered laundry machine that "cleans" clothes into shreds, Season 2 proves that while the Pringles may be down, they are definitely not out.

Determined to reclaim their social standing, Jamille prepares for a high-society garden party, with 8-year-old Nicki mimicking her every "sophisticated" move. The plan for elegance falls apart when Nicki accidentally uses Arthur’s experimental "super-grip" industrial glue to repair Jamille’s heirloom lace fan. By the time they reach the party, the fan is permanently stuck to a serving tray, a local stray cat, and eventually, the host's expensive wig. Meanwhile, Michelle tries to convince the landlord that the "rhythmic banging" coming from the basement is a new modern music trend rather than Arthur’s failing steam-laundry machine.

When a group of local boys claims that "fine ladies" can't handle the new high-wheel velocipedes, Jamille decides to defend the family honor by entering the neighborhood’s first street race. Not wanting to be left behind, 8-year-old Nicki builds a "matching" miniature bike out of old crates and a spinning wheel. As Jamille struggles to stay elegant while pedaling at top speed, Nicki’s chaotic racing style and Arthur’s "rocket-booster" steam attachment turn the race into a city-wide chase. Meanwhile, Michelle tries to win back the family’s silver tea set by betting on the girls to beat the neighborhood bully.

Jamille decides to open a "Finishing School" for the neighborhood children to earn extra money. Nicki joins as the assistant instructor, but her version of "proper tea service" involves a slingshot and a very confused bulldog. The class becomes a hit when the local kids realize Jamille's "graceful movement" lessons are actually great for dodging the police during street games

Arthur enters a race with a car powered by cooking grease. Jamille and Nicki try to act like "Grand Prix" models.

The girls think their building is haunted. Nicki dresses as a ghost to scare Jamille, only to find Arthur’s "Automatic Sheet-Folder" is actually the culprit.

Jamille tries to convince a visiting Duchess she still lives in a mansion. Nicki accidentally reveals the truth by inviting the Duchess to a game of "Street Poker."

Arthur’s new barber-bot goes haywire. Jamille has to hide a terrible haircut with a massive hat, while Nicki tries to start a "Short Hair" trend.

Michelle runs for "Neighborhood Captain." The girls act as her campaign managers, handing out "sophisticated" flyers that are actually just drawings of Jamille.

The family finally reaches the Fair! Jamille gets lost in the Hall of Mirrors, and Nicki uses her "Mini-Me" skills to find her by tracking her sister’s perfume.

The Pringles throw a massive street party. Arthur’s giant fireworks invention nearly takes out the city, but the family realizes they prefer the tenement to the manor.
