Entering the old building where Kounan and the others were trapped, he is confronted with a horrifying scene filled with multiple corpses, while a tragic incident also befalls Fukunishi. Days later, after receiving new information from his brother, Detective Shimada Osamu, Shikatani begins to re-examine the events surrounding the deadly tragedy within the Clock Tower.
