The personal journey of an atheist writer and a dysfunctional family as they embark on a pilgrimage to visit all 18 Maha Shakti Peethas.
Madhav is a failed businessman. His friend, Deepak, suggests he visit the 18 Maha Shakthipeeths with his family. Meanwhile, Ranjith, an atheist and an author, chooses the same places as the backdrop for his next book.
Madhav's family arrives in Alampuram, where Ranjith asks for his help. Kanaga invites the group for dinner and a stay. Priya's irritation with Madhav's financial troubles increases.
Madhav's family and Ranjith travel to Pithapuram. Ranjith discovers the divine within while Madhav's fate becomes uncertain. Priya contemplates divorce if Madhav asks her father for help.
Madhav collects sacred soil from the Girija Devi temple. Ranjith learns about tribal beliefs, and Madhav apologises to Pranav. The group spends the night in Kolkata. Priya is shocked by a revelation.
In Guwahati, a fiery confrontation erupts between Priya and Madhav. The pressure starts mounting on Madhav. Ranjith's conversations and experiences prompt him to write about his journey.
In Prayagraj, Priya decides to end the trip, but Madhav pleads with her to wait until they reach Kashi. Ranjith receives some disappointing news about his health. Madhav's family splits as the members begin their individual journeys.

Revathi and Pranav have questions for their parents. Priya and Madhav cross paths and get back together when they learn about Ranjith's health. Ranjith encourages Madhav to visit Kanchi.
In Kanchi, Ranjith's selfless act leaves Priya and Madhav in awe. The family reconciles and travels to Sri Lanka, where Madhav immerses the sacred soil from all the 18 peeths in the ocean.
