The story is set in a block of government-rental HDB flats and revolves around its occupants. Everyday, heartwarming scenes of tears and laughter take place in these humble settings.
After a couple disposes of an antique water vessel at their daughter's behest, the heirloom begins a journey with other families in the same building.
In one corner of bustling Singapore, an eclectic group of people on the bottom rung of society live their lives in the HDB flats.
Several households on Level 9 are disturbed by a scream at midnight. Ma Zhigang clashes with Weijie and makes a scene.
Granny Ma drags Zhigang to worship the 13th Goddess, but he remains greedy and lecherous. Lin Bang visits Xiuzhen, who gives him a frosty welcome.
