When the man who murdered her daughter is released early from prison, police officer Luise Berg vows to put him back behind bars, while a seemingly rehabilitated Dennis pursues a vicious plan of revenge.
While Luise’s erratic behavior raises questions in both her personal and professional lives, Dennis devises a way to befriend Josi.
After recognizing a familiar piece of evidence at yet another crime scene, Luise is ordered to stay away from Dennis. Later, Josi learns her new boyfriend Luca is not who he claims to be.
