The horror and crime thriller genres collide in this new original series from Robert Rodriguez, based on his cult grindhouse classic about bank-robbing brothers on the run, a lawman bent on bringing them to justice, the devout family caught in the cross-fire, and an ancient evil eager to feast on them all.
The Gecko brothers are wanted by the authorities after a bank heist leaves several dead. Escaping to mexico, chaos ensues when they take hostages and detour to a strip club that is populated by vampires.
A pit stop at a liquor store leads to a deadly standoff for bank robbers Seth and Richie Gecko, who are making a run for the Mexican border.
Richie's visions intensify as the Gecko Brothers escape the liquor store with dogged lawman Freddie Gonzalez in close pursuit.
While Richie deals with his visions, Seth and Carlos plan to cross the border. Meanwhile, the Fullers' RV breaks down and Ranger Gonzalez asks for help.

In season two, core relationships deepen and become more complicated as everyone tries to put their lives back on track after one very insane day. Santánico and Richie (living outside of Houston) are now partners in crime, resembling a more modern version of Bonnie and Clyde; Seth and Kate are scraping by as small time criminals south of the border; and Freddie Gonzalez has an almost obsessive focus on protecting his wife and young daughter in the suburbs. Carlos Madrigal and Scott Fuller emerge from the Titty Twister, changed men. They will all come together once again – this time facing off against an even bigger threat.
Three months after freeing Santanico from the Titty Twister, the Gecko Brothers are still on the run; Seth and Kate are lost in Mexico; Richie and Santanico plot vengeance on the culebra Lord.
Seth and Kate stage a heist, while Gonzalez endures frightening visions that lead to a grisly discovery, and back at the Twister, Malvado's plans are set into motion by Carlo's emergence from the labyrinth.
