Love Alarm is an app that tells you if someone within a 10-meter radius has a crush on you. It quickly becomes a social phenomenon. While everyone talks about it and uses it to test their love and popularity, Jojo is one of the few people who have yet to download the app. However, she soon faces a love triangle situation between Sun-oh whom she starts to have feelings for, and Hye-young, who has had a huge crush on her.
In a world where an app alerts people if someone in the vicinity likes them, Kim Jojo experiences young love while coping with personal adversities.
Unlike her friends, Kim Jojo has more pressing things on her mind than dating. Upon returning from abroad, Hwang Sun-oh goes to see Lee Hye-yeong.
Sun-oh wants to know whether Hye-yeong has feelings for Jojo and tells him what he did. Jang Il-sik gets into a fight with Sun-oh and Hye-yeong.
Jojo confronts Sun-oh about the photos. As rumors spread at school, Jang-go gets mad at Jojo for lying. Il-sik confronts Jang-go about what she did.
Sun-oh asks Jojo about the school trip and realizes there’s not much he can do for her. Il-sik tells Jang-go something she doesn’t want to hear.
Jojo tells Sun-oh about her parents and makes a surprising suggestion. She later confronts Jang-go after overhearing something.
News of the tragedy hits the airwaves. Hye-yeong finds Jojo at the library and informs her that he plans to court her the old-fashioned way.

With video of his lecture hall visit gone viral, Sun-oh comes to blows with Hye-yeong. Jojo receives a special gift from an unknown sender.
Park Gul-mi reaches a digital milestone. Brian grills Jojo about the shield, spear and Duk-gu — and shatters reality for a bystanding listener.
Revealing the identity and inspiration behind The Ringing World, Jojo reconciles with the past. Duk-gu keeps his end of the bargain.
