Two Norwegian TV personalities ditch their everyday lives to buy and fix up a place in a tiny Italian town. They barely speak the language, can't really renovate, and their budget is laughably small. Everything goes sideways constantly, but they insist it's all a love story.
The joy of buying a house quickly fades when the tradesman shows them a long list of defects. Suddenly they realize what they have actually gotten themselves into.
John is very curious about who will fill in in his absence. And Solveig has to defend a bold color choice.
There's a party at Marino's, but the idyll doesn't last long. An accident in the apartment turns into a costly affair.
A trip to the neighboring town provides a little respite – but chaos awaits at home, when Solveig suddenly realizes how bad they are at decorating. John and Solveig get to try a sport they've never tried before.
