An absurdist, retro-futuristic 80s cop extravaganza. The series follows undercover detective Dazzle Novak, a handsome idiot who commits more crimes than most criminals. His tyrannical chief, Pizzaz Miller, won't get off his back, and hotshot rookie Rad Cunningham is dying to see him fail. With the world against him, Dazzle is thrust into a living nightmare: having to do actual police work.
A dangerous crime lord is terrorizing Moonbeam City, but handsome idiot detective Dazzle Novak is more concerned with getting his "#1 Cop" mug back from his rival, Rad Cunningham, than with cracking the case.
When Dazzle is approached by true-crime show "Crimezappers" about reenacting one of his arrests, he insists on directing the episode, but the hyper-expensive shoot quickly spirals out of control.
Chrysalis leads a task force to catch a mysterious serial killer, and Dazzle is torn when his favorite artist becomes the prime suspect.
Dazzle goes undercover at sea when he's inspired by Chrysalis' naval commander father, but the assignment is complicated by his affection for a dolphin named Splasha.
To prevent Mayor Eo Jaxxon from dismantling Moonbeam City's police department, the police hook the entire city on the synthetic drug "Glitzotrene", creating a drug epidemic. Guest starring Powers Boothe and Trace Adkins.
The team meets Pizzaz's family, Dazzle dates Pizzaz's estranged sister, Panache, while Rad tries to join a yacht club
During the "Cop Con" police event, Dazzle and Pizzaz enjoy their annual romantic tryst. With Moonbeam City PD absent, the criminal element literally cleans up the town.
Dazzle and his stuntman father, Razzle, reconnect; Rad loses his parking ticket and gets trapped in the PD garage by the security system.
After Rad gets lost in the virtual world of the Moonbeam PD's records room, Dazzle is imprisoned for his murder, where he forms an erotic connection with the prison's artificially intelligent security system.
Dazzle begins dating a mob boss's socialite daughter, and Rad is pressured by his Canadian grifter parents into getting sham-married to his own sister.
