After the Klatts' daughter goes missing, they take matters into their own hands and hatch a wild plan: Spy on the neighborhood. As they make their way into small-time espionage, shocking secrets come to light one by one.
The story of Dedo and Carlotta Klatt, who are desperate to locate their missing 17-year-old daughter Wanda, who disappeared months ago without a trace. When the police fail to find her, the family takes matters into their own hands, obtaining surveillance devices with the help of their tech-savvy son Ole. Disguising themselves as employees of an electrical company, they bug their neighborhood and then half their suburb, finding out that behind closed doors, none of their neighbors are who they pretend to be.
When their missing daughter's shirt turns up in a neighborhood donation bin, Carlotta and Dedo come up with a wild idea to find her.
Dedo clumsily breaks into the home of a teacher from Wanda's school. Ole discovers what his parents are doing and makes a suggestion.
