In an alternate fantasy world, the Demon King reigns with a formidable army led by his Four Heavenly Kings. One happens to be Uchimura Denosuke, a normal salaryman unexpectedly plucked from his mundane life by the Demon King himself. But even in this new realm, Uchimura is bestowed no particular powers. Can he survive treacherous missions with only the knowledge of an office worker?
Uchimura is a regular office worker who did his best to find a job at a company and worked hard, but was constantly overlooked by his superiors. Just when his superiors decided to shunt him off to another dead-end branch, Uchimura is abruptly summoned by the Demon King of another world to work as one of his four generals.
Hired as an Elite General, Dennosuke’s first task is to negotiate a merger with the leader of the resource starved Ogre Tribe. Despite their suffering and the Ogre leader's stubbornness, Dennosuke works to find a way forward for the Demon lord's army.
Dennosuke now has the help of Olulu, the daughter of the leader of the ogre clan. This fact greatly annoys Ulmandra, who tries to get close to our protagonist with little success.
The Dark Lord gives Dennosuke a new task: to research the magical arts so that everyone can use magic even without the necessary power. And this time, he will have the help of the elusive Sylphid.
Having done so much under the Overlord's direct orders, Dennosuke now feels he must step up his game by becoming proactive. He decides to make a bold move by researching the marketplace with Ulmandra, hoping to find a hint to make the army even greater.
Uchimura is off to go on his first business trip to the Golden Kingdom, where he must negotiate a trade with the formidable Rampage King. Will his previous experiences help him get the deal he needs to solve the current crisis?
Rampage King suddenly no longer wants to trade with the Demon Army saying he could get it elsewhere. Uchimura must now find out why this is happening.
