Sexologist and therapist Sofia Prado, director of an institute of alternative therapies, has to deal with her own emotional disorders, which she hides from everyone. From the revelation of one of her patients, the specialist becomes involved in a dangerous network of corruption.
Sofia divides her time between running a center for alternative couples therapy, specializing in techniques for a fuller sex life, and writing her second book, 'The Secret Life of Couples.'
The mysterious death of one of Sofia's patients has her deeply troubled. When police question her about possible sexual motives of the crime, Sofia refuses to break confidentiality.
Sofia remains a suspect. Vicente disagrees with the police and shares his suspicions with Renata. Bernardo and Thiago seek advice about their sex life, or lack thereof.
Sofia is confronted by Daniel's sister. Information involving the powerful Edgar Eleno mysteriously appears on Vicente's computer. Giordana catches her husband red-handed. Bernardo suggests Thiago look for someone else.

Giordana introduces Vicente to her family. Nanda and Ricardo become unexpectedly close. Luis and Otero exchange threats about exposing each other's past crimes.
Sofia and Luis consider their next move in order to protect Sofia's reputation and business. Vicente gets approval to publish his story despite the potential backlash. Roberta questions Vicente's relationship with Giordana. Edgar considers Otero's death a personal attack but finds a way to use the news to his benefit.
