In defiance to his superiors, a credit officer stands his ground in denying a grocery chain additional loans. Then the terrorist attacks begin.
Bando and Nito of Hakusui Bank have a disagreement over approving loans to the giant supermarket chain Ippudo. An explosion occurs at an Ippudo store.
Ippudo's stock plummets after the bombings. Bando investigates the troubles Ippudo has been having. Detective Yaen turns his attention to a suspect.
Bando realizes that a certain location has been left out of Tomobe's plans. The police find incriminating evidence from the suspect's apartment.
Yaen notices that Super Tokio's main bank is Hakusui Bank. Bando is shaken after being asked about the possible repercussions of Ippudo's failure.
The motion to dismiss Kazama has been rejected. A report of another bomb threat comes in as Bando deals with Nito's scheming.
