After a disastrous first encounter, a stern prosecutor and a spirited judicial trainee are unexpectedly drawn into each other’s lives, where chaos sparks an unlikely connection.
Judicial apprentice Sakura mistakes prosecutor Haruto for a pervert. Their paths continue to cross in awkward ways, eventually taking a darker turn.
Sakura is arrested on suspicion of murdering her ex-boyfriend. Haruto is assigned as the prosecutor for the case and pressures Sakura to confess.
Haruto decides to go his separate way as Sakura tries to find the real killer. Two years later, mysterious events bring them back together.
Sakura puts aside her feelings for Haruto. A potential real killer has broken into her office. Haruto insists she stay at his place for her safety.
Haruto's ex Sakiko visits and Sakura acts as his new lover, creating a tense situation. Sakiko later leaves after realising the troubles she caused.
Sakura, Ren, Shinjo and Yoneda join Haruto on his law office's first case. Despite lacking an alibi, the client requests Sakura's representation.
