Malavika, who comes to the village of Perilloor to find love with her boyfriend Sreekuttan, unexpectedly ends up becoming the village Panchayat President against her will. Later, her life goes upside down along with the problems stirred by the wayward people of Perilloor Panchayath.
To be in power after being barred from the upcoming elections, Peethambaran, the long-standing Panchayat president, convinces his niece to contest. Will Malavika agree?
Realising the trouble she invited, Malavika and her aunt scheme to intentionally lose the election. Finally, she seeks the help of Psycho Balachandran.
Winning by one vote, a reluctant Malavika becomes the Panchayat president. After spurning Malavika, Sreekuttan's desire to wed backfires each time he goes bride-seeing.
