Does marriage mean the end of a woman's rights over her own body? As Sampurna raises her voice against the abuse Nandini's husband inflicts on the latter, her family and the law of society turn out to be the biggest obstacles in her quest for justice.
Sampurna manages to get Nandini and Raktim married after a few hiccups. On Nandini's first night in her new home, Sampurna is surprised to see a dishevelled Nandini on the terrace.
Raktim and Nandini go on their honeymoon, but Nandini goes missing from their hotel room in the middle of the night. On their return, Sampurna is shocked to see the signs of abuse on Nandini's body.
Sampurna's family refuses to address Raktim's abusive behaviour. And when things seem to have gained the semblance of normalcy, the news of Nandini's accident shocks everyone.
Sampurna tells her family about Raktim's deeds but to no avail. She motivates the injured Nandini to speak her truth.
Sampurna's family pressurises Nandini to withdraw her statement. Sampurna's husband gives her an ultimatum.
Sampurna reveals Raktim's true colours to Nandini. And this is where Sampurna and Nandini's real quest for justice begins.
