In the ancient past, the Highest level of angels, the Six Saintly Beasts reigned supreme as the beast kings. Two of the Saint Beasts disobeyed Gods order and was sealed away in a Hellish place. Now after thousands of days and nights, the barrier has weakened and they escape. So the remaining four must go to Earth and stop them from causing trouble.
With the disappearance of guardian angels on Earth, the four Saint Beasts are called on to investigate who's behind the disappearances.
Gou ends up in a haunted mansion, where he discovers one of the Wandering Angels is trying to convince two young girls to move on to the afterlife.
While looking in her magical mirror the Goddess sees Hiro of the Hawk, who has a revelation of darkness.
Goh and Ray are busy resealing the Land of Revival, while Gai and Maya get caught up in the disappearance of a guardian angel...
Maya and Kira try to find out the truth about Judas, and the Goddess visits the Four Saint Beasts to invite them to the Full Moon Festival.
Maya, Kira, and Ayumi, and the other guardian angels, start to fall into hell, and the Four Saint Beasts find themselves falling along with them.
